Online orders have surged for restaurants
and takeaways during the COVID-19 lockdown, as customers choose the convenience

recent figures for the UK and Ireland to find which cuisine types are performing

Orders of Chinese food have more
than trebled in the UK (223% expansion) and doubled in Ireland (up 83%) during
this period.
Chippers showed a major rise as
well, with orders doubling in the UK (101% expansion) and also surging by 68%
in Ireland.

in Ireland. Pizza and Thai food orders also showed a significant rise in the
